It can be argued that one of the most exciting moments in Breath of the Wild was the aerial assault on Divine Beast Vah Medoh. With the heroic Rito warrior Teba, Link soars into an intense airborne battle in order to destroy Vah Medoh’s cannons. The sequence is a visual treat, especially with the clouds and falling snowflakes providing a beautiful backdrop to the fierce conflict.

I think the musical theme for this sequence is one of the most dramatic in the entire game. This violin arrangement of the theme by ViolinGamer perfectly captures the tension of the campaign. The song opens with dramatic, oscillating runs on the violin which create a sense of foreboding and anticipation. These runs set the tone for the entire song and form the backbone of the piece of music.

Overall, this piece is a teeter totter of tension with the different violin parts rising and fading away rapidly. The dramatic clangs of the percussion are excellent exclamation points for the energetic violin parts. One of the best moments of the song is when a variation of Breath of the Wild is featured over the other violin parts, reminding the listener of the beauty inherent in the game and its world.
