Gerudo Valley is one of the most iconic songs in the Legend of Zelda series. Despite appearing in Ocarina of Time twenty years ago, it remains a fan favorite melody, even making appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series. There have been many impressive versions of the song, most noticeably a boisterous orchestrated rendition that was included in the Zelda 25th Anniversary CD and has been played at the Symphony of the Goddesses live concerts.

While the orchestrated version utilizes an entire orchestra to recreate the iconic theme, this rendition by Joshua Traum works to remain true to the sound originally found in Ocarina of Time. Using a Spanish guitar, Traum is able to create a sound that harkens back to the Nintendo 64 original, while also capturing a rich tone that wasn’t possible in the original arrangement.
