The Adventure of Link is widely regarded as the black sheep of the Zelda series. Taking a hard left turn in terms of gameplay style, the title has its ups and downs for a lot of fans. However, one thing most people who’ve played this game have agreed on is that it provides some quality music. Not only has Nintendo remixed some of the Zelda II‘s tunes for games like Smash Bros., but there have been a lot of great fan covers as well.

Take this orchestral fan arrangement of the Town theme from The Adventure of Link for instance, as it provides a wonderful upgrade to a familiar tune. Provided to us by The Noble Demon this cover is part of a community-curated album called NES Classics 2: A Community Curated Album. If you want to download the entire album, it’s available for free right here.

In addition to her other Zelda orchestral arrangements — featuring music from The Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Spirit Tracks, Ocarina of Time, The Minish Cap, A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, and Phantom Hourglass — The Noble Demon has tackled a whole bunch of different game series such as Mega Man, Castlevania, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Shovel Knight, Kirby, and Rhythm Heaven.

If you want to help The Noble Demon continue her amazing work, she’s currently running a GoFundMe page in order to obtain a substantial upgrade to her computer situation. She also has her own Patreon if you want to provide continuing support.
