The piano is one of the most versatile and prolific instruments in all of music. Many musicians learn the piano at early ages before moving on to learn other instruments, which means it has become a favorite for many musicians, both classical and contemporary.
This beautiful piano ballad by Daniel Trasher demonstrates the versatility and beauty of the piano. The ballad weaves together two incredible Zelda songs: the “The Song of Time” and “The Song of Storms”. Both songs are legendary compositions from Ocarina of Time.
Early in the song, the piano is used to create a somber and contemplative mood, while it becomes more jazzy and playful in the middle of the piano ballad. The ending adds a beautiful and haunting chorus in the background, which adds gravitas to final moments of the song.
