Mabe Village is one of the key locations in Link’s Awakening. The bustling island town is one of the first places that Link visits after being shipwrecked on Koholint Island. It’s a location that Link must return to throughout his journey. His frequent trips to the village, along with its friendly characters like Marin and Tarin, make the village feel like a surrogate home for our young adventurer.
This beautiful remix by DaMonz, Christine Giguère, and Denis Bluteau, titled “Sweet Dreams, Koholint,” is designed to put listeners in the holiday mood. The trio uses bells, strings, and cello to create this festive rendition of the Mabe Village theme. This arrangement is extremely cheerful, conjuring up feeling of peace and comfort. It perfectly fits the bustling village, an oasis of peace on the wild island.
