You know, coming across this today really tickled my fancy, because I had always wondered if Miyamoto’s vision of water colors truly worked in HD. While I knew the game could be ran via the Dolphin emulator in HD I hadn’t actually seen it, nor had I seen a video comparing them. Miyamoto’s water color vision truly only appears to get fully realized when the resolution matches today’s standards. Seriously, the game is gorgeous and it’s actually making me really want to go back and replay it. In fact, when you see things like this on an emulator you really start to wonder what Nintendo has to do in order to release a combo pack HD rereleases for many of their Wii games, especially Zelda.

It’s just gorgeous. Anyone who was putting down the art style in the past year may want to take notes now on what beautiful art direction truly looks like.
