MinecraftZelda_OldMan Despite having the basic concept of ‘build stuff,’ Minecraft has become a very popular game over the years. Having never played it, there’s probably a lot more to it than I realize, but people all over the world have spent countless hours putting their constructions together. In fact, two people from New Jersey embarked on a project to re-create the entire original 1986 Legend of Zelda map in Minecraft.

The project is still under way, but hit the jump to see the progress these two dedicated gamers have made so far.

Once finished it will be made available to play on Minecraft’s Adventure Mode. The builders started in September 2014, but seeing as they’ve given themselves three years to finish the project, it will be a while before you’ll be able to save Hyrule in a whole new way.
