Zelda Dungeon is happy to officially announce the 2020 Zelda Dungeon Marathon. The marathon is an annual event held in July that began back in 2012, and over the past 8 years, Zelda Dungeon has raised over $35,000 for various charities. The event will begin on Saturday July 11th at 9am Central time, running through Tuesday July 14th. Over the course of 4 days, the Zelda Dungeon team will be playing through the majority of the Legend of Zelda series in some friendly playthroughs. Some of the Zelda titles will be played in some competitive matches, while others will include rather quirky gimmicks attached to them to make for a great experience for all viewers.

This year we will playing for Black Girls CODE, a charity focused on providing opportunities to young girls in underrepresented communities. The charity is set out to prove to the world that girls of every color have the skills to become the programmers of tomorrow. Black Girls CODE works with community outreach programs to provide workshops and after school programs, teaching basic computer programming sills in languages like Scratch and Ruby on Rails.

As we lead up to the marathon, we have launched the Zelda Dungeon Marathon T-Shirt Store. Here you can find this years official Zelda Dungeon Marathon t-shirt, as well as many custom designed shirts for some of our marathon team members. Shirts are priced at affordable rates, with any profits that are made being donated to the charity.

Watch the event live on the web on Zelda Dungeon Twitch channel beginning Saturday July 11th at 9am Central time. Stay tuned right here at Zelda Dungeon for more information in the coming days.
