Join in on The Legend’s Cookbook’s Calamity Cookoff Contest

After the public release of The Legend’s Cookbook in early September, the creators have set their sights on a new project which they are calling The Legend’s Cookbook: Hero of the Ladle. First teased earlier this month, Hero of the Ladle will “bring to life a custom molded wok ladle with a beautifully engraved handle,” as well as other goodies like a “companion cookbook”. To kickoff this new project, the folks behind The Legend’s Cookbook are hosting the “Calamity Cookoff” contest. Winners of the contest will be rewarded with a Royal Chef Apron and the possibility of being featured in the newest project.

There are three ways to for you to enter this contest: Option one is to join in on the Calamity Cookoff. For the cook-off, entrants are tasked with creating their own Zelda-inspired recipe, one not found in The Legend’s Cookbook. One’s submission must come with a photo or video of the recipe shared to @LegendsCookbook and tagged #CalamityCookOff on Twitter. Winners will be based on taste, originality, creativity, and presentation. If you win the Calamity Cookoff, not only will you receive the opportunity to be featured in the upcoming Legend’s Ladle companion cookbook, but you will also receive a free digital copy of the book.

Option two, the “Fall Craft Fair”, is for the all of the artists out there. For this option, entrants must create a Calamity-inspired piece of artwork and share it with @LegendsCookbook and tag #CalamityCookOff on Twitter, or share it via The Legend’s Cookbook‘s Discord. Winners of the Fall Craft Fair will get the opportunity for their artwork to appear in the upcoming cookbook and will also receive a free digital copy.

If neither of those two options catch your eye, there is also a raffle that is offered. On the raffle website, you will see a number of tasks that need to be completed in order to have your name entered into the contest. As a Zelda Dungeon exclusive, use the code FRYFORCE (for the wisdom, power, and courage needed to fry food) when entering. After you’re entered, a name will be drawn at random and the winner of the raffle will receive a Royal Chef Apron.

For all entries, the deadline is Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:59 EST. There is no set date yet as to when winners will be announced, but they will be announced later this year. In the meantime, check out The Legends Cookbook, available at The Yetee, and dabble in some Zelda-themed cooking.
