Finding all 900 Koroks in Breath of the Wild is quite an impressive feat, but collectively drawing 900 Koroks sounds like an even more ambitious goal, surely. Well, the Zelda Creators community recently announced an art collaboration among artists to do just that: draw Koroks until 900 are illustrated!

Spurred by TC (@VirgoTriangulum) as a project for Twitter Korok Day (any 9th day of a month) and launched by Zelda Creators, the hope is to get enough artists signed up to create 900 Koroks by February 1st, 2022, which is the deadline for submissions (sign ups will be extended until the goal is reached). If enough people sign up, the artwork is due by March 1st, 2022. The Koroks will then be compiled on one large canvas and shared on March 9th, 2022!

Artists can join in on “March of the Koroks” by filling out a short submission form, and opt to do as many Koroks as they want. If artists can only create one, that is perfectly fine. If they think they can do more, they can set whatever amount they prefer! Currently there are over 200 artists signed up, so there is plenty of room for anyone interested to join!

In the meantime, definitely check out the Zelda Creators Discord server, which is the hub of communication for this event and all future ones! The Zelda Creators Twitter and Instagram accounts will also frequently provide updates about this event, as well as spotlight various Zelda artists if that interests you! The event also has a Twitter/Instagram hashtag (#MarchoftheKoroks) that you can keep an eye on!

I am extremely excited for this collaboration.  I signed up to draw a Korok a few days ago, but I am considering doing maybe one or two more! Will any of you be signing up? Would you create an original Korok, or draw an existing one? Let us know in the comments below!
