Sure, there is an upcoming Summer Direct and an eventual Switch successor reveal coming from the Big N, but nothing Link-shaped quite yet. So, as we sit here patiently waiting for whatever Nintendo will give their Zelda fans next, we can at least listen to some nice tunes until then. With that being said, the music we’re listening to today is a piano duet cover featuring a medley of different Zelda songs co-performed by Joanie Mendenhall of Supertonic Studio.

The medley features such scores as the “Overworld” theme from the NES The Legend of Zelda, and “Song of Storms,” “Gerudo Valley,” and “Lost Woods” from Ocarina of Time. While this appears to be the only video game cover on her channel, Mendenhall does perform piano instrumentals of popular music such as “Let It Be” by The Beatles, “Roar” by Katy Perry, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” popularized by the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King, and much more.

Joanie Mendenhall, whose foundation is in classical piano, runs Supertonic Studio, a music teaching class based in California that focuses on teaching her students the techniques and fundamental aspects of music. According to the About section on the studio’s official website, Mendenhall explains that the reason for this method of teaching is so her students can explore whatever musical avenues they want to later. She goes on to say that many of her students have done just that, ranging from tackling songwriting to even music literature.

If you want to continue to follow Joanie Mendenhall’s work at Supertonic Studio, you can follow her on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and her official website as well.
