Remember Skyward Sword? Whether you enjoyed the introduction of the game or not, you have to admit it took a long time to get to the first dungeon. Even Ocarina of Time has a lengthy beginning compared to most 2D entries in the series. Recent Zelda games have been criticized for introductions that drone on for extended amounts of time. Sometimes you just want to get to a dungeon, you know?
A Link Between Worlds is perfect for that.
Jason Schreier of Kotaku has stated it took a total of five minutes and three seconds to reach his first dungeon in A Link Between Worlds. The clock started from the moment he hit “New Game.” This time even includes the opening cutscene! Jason obtained the sword within three minutes and was exploring a dungeon after two more.
Link’s new 3DS adventure looks like it will throw players right into the world. That’s something to be excited for.
