Believe it or not, but The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is now 20 years old. The game released in Japan in December 2002 and subsequently released around the rest of the world in the early months of 2003. The flow of time never ceases, huh?

Typically, we at Zelda Dungeon like to celebrate the 20th birthday of a given Zelda game by hosting a special themed week in honor of that game. But because The Wind Waker‘s big “2-0” happened so close to the release of Tears of the Kingdom, we decided to postpone the festivities until the new-game hype train had slowed down a little bit.

That time has finally come!

With Tears of the Kingdom news slowing down and with summer soon coming to a close, this week seemed to us the best opportunity to kick off Wind Waker Week, a week-long celebration of all things The Wind Waker! For the next seven days, your pals at Zelda Dungeon will be sharing their thoughts, memories, and insights regarding Link’s adventure across the Great Sea and the legacy that adventure left behind.

So what can you expect from Wind Waker Week?
