Immerse Yourself in the Music of Skyward Sword with this Skyward Medley

Deep in the woods do the ancestors of Princess and Hero play their songs in this Skyward Sword medley.
Comprising of five themes, this medley blends together various Skyward Sword songs, weaving together a musical narrative paralleling the visual narrative taking place on screen between Link and Zelda. Together, the musical talent of Songbird Ocarina and guest Freckled Zelda (with instruments crafted by Songbird Ocarina and Harpsicle Harps), and some cosplay talent create this beautiful project.
The tracks applied in this medley are the Skyward Sword prologue theme, “Crimson Loftwing,” the vocal version of “Ballad of the Goddess,” Ghirahim’s theme, and the orchestral version of “Ballad of the Goddess.” The video gets creative with its elements of cosplay and narrative, enhancing the viewer-experience. The use of Ghirahim’s laugh to switch up the progression of the story and music is a really nice touch.
Songbird Ocarina, a Los Angeles-based business, has been crafting ocarinas since 1989 and now delivers ocarinas of all kinds of shapes across the world. Harpsicle Harps got its start in 1972 when co-founder Luthier William Rees began selling harps he made in his garage, and has since grown to sell harps around the world. Check out these companies’ websites to see their amazing creations.

John has been a Zelda fan for over 10 years now and is proud to say the series has had a major impact on his life (and wallet). After years of going to Zelda Dungeon for guides or the latest news on the series, John achieved their dream when they joined the writing team in 2019; John can hardly believe how long it’s been. A librarian, he loves meticulously arranging his library of Zelda games and collectibles. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for Tears of the Kingdom, John looks forward to the future of the Zelda franchise with enthusiasm, whether that’s the upcoming movie, a new spin-off/remake, or the next big game.
