IGN Staffer Says Breath of the Wild Took Almost 50 Hours to Beat

It’s not much longer now, many of us are counting the breaths that we have to take in order to get our hands on our copy of  Breath of the Wild. There are those lucky few who have had the pleasure of playing the game already. The envy is real, but these folks have let us in on more information on what the game is all about.

One lucky IGN writier, Alanah Pearce, has given us a rough estimate on how long beating Breath of the Wild will take. According to a post on her Instagram, she played the game nonstop for almost four days, racking up between 40-50 hours of gameplay. In doing this, she played through the game’s storyline from it’s beginning to end.

Now, this does not mean that she played the game to it’s 100% completion. Who knows how long that will take. But this gives us an idea of just how long it might take to complete the general storyline.
