Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Announced for Switch, Coming This Spring

Nintendo unveiled a new live stream presentation format called the Nintendo Direct Mini this morning, offering a rapid-fire string of game announcements. Among other titles coming to the Switch this year, Nintendo has announced Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. This special version of the Koei-Tecmo developed action game features every map, every character, and every mission from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, including all downloadable content.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition touts full 1080p graphics in TV mode and two-player splitscreen multiplayer. The game also features new costumes for Link and Zelda inspired by Breath of the Wild.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is planned for release in Spring 2018.
Update: According to reports, the Japanese version of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will release in Japan on March 22, 2018 for ¥6,800 (roughly $60 USD).
