The wait for more Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is finally over. Nearly a year after the game’s November 2020 release date (and about three months after its first wave of DLC), the game’s second wave of DLC, titled Guardian of Remembrance, is now available.

The second part of Age of Calamity‘s Expansion Pass includes new story missions titled “Battle for Kakariko Village” and “Battle for Goponga Village,” along with new stages like the Coliseum and Lanayru Road. These new stages will let the player visit past versions of locations first seen as ruins in Breath of the Wild. Additionally, the duo of Robbie & Purah are a key part of the DLC, and the pair — along with one more unannounced character — join the extensive list of playable characters. Robbie & Purah, who fight as one, use their expertise with ancient technology to crush the opposition.

In accordance with the game’s release, Koei Tecmo has released a launch trailer on their Japanese YouTube account. This trailer shows off Robbie & Purah in the heat of the action, and it highlights the duo’s unique combat style. Robbie has two metal arms that sprout from his back, with Ancient Axes attached to each arm. This fighting style gives Robbie some real General Grievous or Dr. Octopus vibes. During battle, Purah will shelter behind Robbie, but she assists her brother in his fights. From the trailer, it looks like Purah can unleash some devastating ancient technology-based attacks on enemies. The trailer also includes some epic scenes of fan favorite characters like Urbosa, Terrako, Zelda, and the villain Astor, highlighting the diverse cast of characters found in the game.

If you have not yet purchased the Expansion Pass for Age of Calamity, you can purchase it for $19.99 USD / 17.99£. This price will unlock both the first and second waves of downloadable content. As a purchase bonus, customers will also gain access to a new weapon, the Prototype Ancient Sword.
