Warning: This article contains spoilers for the last DLC character for Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity.

Last month, the community debated about who the last playable DLC character would be for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. There were several differing opinions, but the general consensus was that the new character would be one of the game’s villains. That speculation has now been to rest. Nintendo UK recently released a short trailer for the game which showcases a snippet of the additional fighter’s gameplay. These segments are bookended by brief glances at story cutscenes that are included in the Expansion Pass.

Yep, the Top Banana’s right-hand man is now playable. Sooga wields two Windcleaver katanas in battle and uses tricky techniques to deal damage to his foes. I find it a tad disappointing that Sooga wasn’t included in the base game, as he was a prominent figure in the Yiga Clan’s subplot and would have made a potent contribution to the final battle in Hyrule Field. Still, those who purchased the DLC expansion pass for Age of Calamity will have the opportunity to give Sooga a whirl, along with the Robbie & Purah hybrid character.

Did you expect Sooga to be in the DLC? Are you satisfied with his inclusion? Let us know in the comments below.
