Hymns of Light and Shadows

If any of you have searched for Zelda song covers on youtube chances are you have came across atleast one of Casper’s guitar covers. Over the past couple of years he has been making full studio quality covers of his favorite Nintendo songs. The majority have been from The Legend of Zelda and are not only just standard covers. Recording several lead and rhythm guitar tracks along with bass, drum, and keyboard tracks, his covers all stay true to the original songs, but have a very unique originality to them.

For the later half of the year Casper has been working on a tribute album for his favorite Nintendo franchise and has finally completed his Zelda tribute album titled Hymns of Light and Shadows. The album is full of completely new song covers and was finished about a week ago. Be sure to make the jump to see how you can get your hands on a copy or to hear the songs for yourself.

Track 1. Ocarina of Time: Title Theme

Track 2. Stone Tower Temple

The album has 18 tracks with one being a mix of most of the ocarina songs into one. It is available to download for free off his Official site and he will be uploading a new video for each song once a week for the next 18 weeks and already has the first video up on Youtube along with all of his other covers. Now that he is finished with this Zelda album he will be working on some original material, but will still be making the occasional cover. I have been a fan of Casper’s videos for over a year now and hope you guys find them as great as I do.
