I have seen some fantastic LEGO sets over the years, but this was something a bit special. Hanwasyellowfirst has created a LEGO set based on the stables from Breath Of The Wild. When I first saw this, it took my breath away, and I couldn’t believe that this was a first submission for LEGO ideas!

The set consists of some 1800 – 2000 pieces, and Hanwasyellowfirst has used a brick design program called studio to prototype some specific parts. The stable has 8 sides to it rather than the traditional 12, with the creator making this design decision so that fewer bricks were needed. Han admits that creating characters has been tricky, but his attempt with Beedle (including his mobile shop) has to be respected.

LEGO Dreams

The last LEGO-inspired Zelda idea was back in 2012, which included Link from Ocarina of Time battling with an Iron Knuckle. Unfortunately, this set was not selected at the review.

At the time of writing, Hanwasyellowfirst has 6833 supporters for the project. He needs to hit the magic 10,000 for the project to be considered at the LEGO review and potentially be chosen to be made as a real set. Han is hopeful that since seven years have passed, Nintendo and LEGO may be more receptive to getting a LEGO set like this onto the market; and as a huge Breath Of The Wild fan, I will be creating an account especially to support this build. I hope you will join me in our quest to make this set become a reality!

What do you think of this build? Do you think Nintendo will bite the bullet and make such an epic LEGO set? Let me know in the comments below!
