Happy 7th Birthday Zelda Dungeon!

Today marks the 7th anniversary of the birth of Zelda Dungeon and what you are looking at right now, is exactly what Zelda Dungeon looked like… 7 years ago. I’m sure there are very few people, if any at all, that visited Zelda Dungeon 7 years ago and still come to the site today. This first layout that Zelda Dungeon ever had, in comparison to the current Zelda Dungeon layout, is a perfect example of what the site has gone through over the last 7 years. We started out with this very primitive layout, very poorly done content, and quite frankly, there really was nothing good at all about Zelda Dungeon. Fast forward to August 19th, 2008 and we can all see what has become of Zelda Dungeon. It is one of the most well known Zelda sites and we pride ourselves on providing the best guides that we can offer. As we continue on our mission to be the best guide based site for the Legend of Zelda series, we have several new pieces of content available for you all today.
Chapter 7 of the Ocarina of Time walkthrough is now available. This chapter has actually already been viewable for a few days but is just not being officially announced. This chapter takes adult Link on his quest to entering the Forest Temple and collecting the Forest Medallion. As are all of Caleb’s wonderful walkthroughs, it is filled with numerous screenshots, pieces of artwork, sprite images, and detailed maps.
Ocarina of Time Walkthrough: Chapter 7 – Forest Medallion
Over the last few weeks I’ve gotten the first 4 chapters up for the Twilight Princess Walkthrough, however, there are still 18 chapters to go and it will be quite awhile until the walkthrough is completed. Thus, over the last few weeks, I’ve taken the time to temporarily finish the Twilight Princess Walkthrough. While chapters 1-4 are the only ones that are truly complete, chapters 5-22 are now available for the fans, but they are in just plain text with no images at all, similar to what a standard gamefaqs guide would have to offer. I will continuously be working on the Twilight Princess Walkthrough over the next several months until all 22 chapters are complete in the standard that has been set.
In addition to the full plain text version of the walkthrough, an additional chapter of the Twilight Princess Video Walkthrough is now available. This is the second chapter off the video walkthrough and it directly follows chapter 2 of the site walkthrough. It takes wolf Link through the sewers of Hyrule Castle, meeting with Princess Zelda, and then collecting a sword and shield within Ordon Village. Like all our video walkthroughs, the video includes complete commentary by me, describing and informing the user of what is happening in Link’s surroundings.

This concludes the days update. This retro layout will only be available for just this one day, afterwards, it will be reduced to just a simple screenshot.
