Grab a Bowl of Cereal! This Zelda Fan Art is Feast of Saturday Morning Cartoon Happiness!

There is something that is effortlessly charming and endearing about Link’s Awakening on Switch. The animation pops off the screen, transporting players to the vibrant world of Koholint. I would love an animated show in style of Link’s Awakening… Or The Minish Cap… Or, really, any of Nintendo’s superb cartoon designs. The happy animated styles always make me wistful for a bowl of cereal and Saturday morning cartoons. And I feel the exact same way every time I see the art coming out of Smoochy Pooch Studio!

An Etsy page run by Linktober veteran and animator Nadia Carrim, Smoochy Pooch Studio creates art that captures everything I love about animation. When viewing her art, we’re invited into a world where characters are living and filled with relatable emotions. Simply look at her rendition of Link and the King of Red Lions, sailing the seas at dusk. The large yawns on both of their faces is enough to put anyone to sleep!

Carrim also offers up work from other franchises, and a fair amount of personal designs. Huggable creatures abound in her portfolio and shop!
