Breath of the Wild is the gift that keeps on giving. Just this week, players discovered how to ride Sidon anywhere and gain infinite Korok Seeds, and now game-bug connoisseur tuissu recently showcased how to make Link stand while riding the Master Cycle. The result looks rather silly — giving Link elongated arms — but is no joke since it allows him to equip a weapon. With sword or bow in hand, Link easily plows through enemies at top speeds. See the glitch in action in tuissu’s videos!

The glitch works in tandem with another glitch called “Hold Smuggling”, which allows Link to hold items when he normally couldn’t. With Hold Smuggling active, a player must mount the Master Cycle and interrupt the mounting animation with a specific text box — such as when Link picks up an arrow for the first time on a save file or when he picks up the Bow of Light at the end of the game. With the text screen active, access the inventory and Link should be able to hold any item. Exiting the inventory with the item still in hand tricks the game into making Link stand on the cycle, after which point any item can be equipped. The process works on horses too!

You can see a basic tutorial for the glitch right here.

This glitch is handy not only in the final boss battle as the video above shows, but also to cause everyday chaos in Hyrule. On Twitter, tuissu has also shown off the damage that can be done when elemental weapons are put to use.

Tuissu credits zb_yuhudaddy and iLegendofLinkk for the discovering the glitch.
