Ghirahim Appears as Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros.

The official Super Smash Bros. Facebook page has posted a screenshot confirming Ghirahim as an Assist Trophy in the upcoming 3DS/Wii U game. What he actually does is still a mystery, but this is quite big news, nonetheless.

Ghirahim was a highly fan-requested character to be a fighter in Super Smash Bros., but it seems he will not be making the cut. Thankfully, he is still playable in Hyrule Warriors. Again, we still do not know what he will be doing as an Assist Trophy, but knowing his habits, he will likely be teleporting around, slashing with his sword, and quite possibly whipping around that infamous tongue of his.
