In Skyward Sword, we are first introduced Fi as our hero’s aid and spirit of the Master Sword. While many fans have mixed feelings about Fi, there is no doubt that her goodbye to Link at the end of the game was one of the most emotional moments in Zelda history. Although the song that plays throughout the cutscene is very beautiful, it is also quite sad and adds to the already emotional situation. So if the original theme didn’t make you shed a tear, get ready to listen to Sam Griffin‘s guitar cover on “Fi’s Farewell.”

In his cover video, Griffin starts off softly and then slowly increases in volume as he nears the end of the song. This talented musician even strums his guitar with such delicate precision and makes it so that his audience hears every note of the song. It’s obvious that Griffin loves his acoustic guitar and plays quite passionately throughout his video, so be sure to check out the video above for some beautiful music.
