Get Ready for Cadence of Hyrule with this Japanese Launch Trailer
Posted on June 14 2019 by Rod Lloyd
Cadence of Hyrule released earlier this week to universal acclaim. This action-rhythm crossover has already proven the strength of the Legend of Zelda brand and has set the tone for future Zelda spin-off titles. And with the game now available for all to enjoy, Nintendo wants to make sure that players’ excitement remains at an all time high. Nintendo Japan recently released a launch trailer for Cadence of Hyrule that shows off many of the game’s core mechanics and introduces us to its cast of colorful villains.
The pre-release coverage of Cadence of Hyrule named a few of the music-themed bosses we were due to battle in the final game, such as the adorably labeled Guitarmos Knights and Ghomaracas. However, we were left scratching our heads as to what other music puns would be used for the rest of the game’s rogues’ gallery. Well, this new launch trailer officially names two of the bosses we saw in prior trailers; the adventure of Link, Zelda, and Cadence will feature boss fights against Gleeokenspiel and Wizzroboe! The trailer also gives us a taste of Cadence‘s main villain Octalo, putting a face to the evil that our heroes will fight against.
The trailer was released alongside a series of screenshots, so be sure to check those out in the gallery below as well!
Cadence of Hyrule is available now.
