We’re less than a month into the 20’s, which means it’s time to revitalize the Jazz Age. And Jazztick, a quartet from Chile, is here to set the mood. Performed live, this rendition of Link’s Awakening‘s “Ballad of the Wind Fish” has amazing audio quality. Watching the crowd sway, cell phones ablaze, has definitely inspired me to find my local jazz hangout. So put down that copy of The Great Gatsby, because this rendition is the bee’s knees.

In the world of remixes and covers, jazz is an underrepresented genre. As a jazz band solely dedicated to video game music, Jazztick has plenty to offer your ears. Their cover of “Midna’s Lament” is so bright, you’ll forget how harrowing that segment of Twilight Princess was. And, of course, what discography would be complete without the tasty riffs of “Gerudo Valley“? Of course, if you’re not in a Zelda mood, they have plenty of other games covered as well.

What do you think of their arrangement? Are there other jazz musicians with a love for games you’d like to share with us? Sound off in the comments below!
