In addition to Mario Maker 2 details, today’s Nintendo Direct announced the Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers program for Switch Online members. Vouchers are sold in pairs for $99.99 and redeemed in the eShop for digital versions of eligible games, so purchasers save up to $19.99 when they redeem two games that ordinarily cost $59.99 each. There are currently 25 games in the program, including Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.

This program is a limited time offer, as vouchers will only be sold between now and July 31st on the eShop and Nintendo’s website. The vouchers remain valid for a year after purchase, though, and don’t have to be used simultaneously. The Nintendo Direct indicated that one voucher could be used to pre-order Mario Maker 2 and that more games will be added to the program, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Cadence of Hyrule or Link’s Awakening for Switch could soon be eligible.
