The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild: Master Works, the third and last of the 30th Anniversary Zelda books, is chock full of artwork from Breath of the Wild’s development. Although the 416 page book was released in Japan last month, no release dates have been announced for other regions. Those of us who can’t buy it now can get a little sneak peek, though, thanks to tumblr user msdbzbabe posting scans of a handful of pages.
See the gallery below for a look at some of the new artwork!
The book’s full title is The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild: Master Works 30th Anniversary Book Vol. 3, and Japanese copies are available now on Play-Asia for $49.99. The product listing describes the contents of the book as follows:
Illustrations, key visuals and characters, cover art of magazines (including overseas) and official art drawn so far.
CHAPTER.2 MAKING OF
A vast amount of setting pictures including first public materials, various elements constituting the world of “Breath of the Wild”, divided into categories such as characters, equipment and regions. Regarding key setting images, comments from development staff are also posted.
Based on the chronology of the series during the game, the book delves into the events that happened to update the Hyrule Historia.
How do you feel about all these Breath of the Wild illustrations? Are you hoping the book will see a quick localization to regions outside of Japan? Share your thoughts in the comments!
