Geek Gear: The Legend of Zelda ‘A Fistfull of Rupees’ Shirt

In my browsing of the internet looking for something to post, I came across this Clint Eastwood-like Zelda shirt. A Fistfull of Rupees is in reference to the Clint Eastwood film, A Fistfull of Dollars. This was Clint Eastwood’s first starring role with his character being the Man with No Name. He carried a slogan that went, “This is the man with no name. In his own way he is, perhaps, the most dangerous man who ever lived!” These words have since been flipped to represent our favorite protagonist Link and you can see the words on the shirt. “This is the Hylian with no last name. In his own way he is, perhaps, the most dangerous Hylian who ever lived!”

You can see a comparison of the new shirt and the old film poster below. The shirt is available for $10 over at Ript Apparel, but it is only available for one day. It’s a pretty cool shirt, but I’m going to pass on it myself. As I’ve said before, I prefer collecting licensed material for my Zelda collection and this one is just fan-created.
