GameXplainWith the release of A Link Between Worlds looming, GameXplain got their hands on a copy and have released a video with their impressions of the game. We’ve seen screenshots, gameplay, and know the general premise of the new Zelda title for the 3DS, but how does it feel to a gamer? Does Nintendo seem to have gone in the right direction?

Overall he seems very comfortable with the controls, and the play he’s put into it don’t seem to pose any kind of problems. This extended play time does offer some insight into a few of the game mechanics, however.

The first that’s discussed is renting items. As you can see in the video, renting items is much cheaper than purchasing the items, however if you die, the items are taken away, which will slowly siphon away the value of your wallet.

Personally, I was very glad to see many elements of A Link to the Past return, but altered so that A Link Between Worlds still feels fresh. Even things as simple as textures and item upgrading brought many fond memories of the SNES game.
