While there’s surely still some value to the Wii U, it seems that the dusty console is getting less and less relevant. Announced during the most recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Switch Online has expanded its reach to include Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games.

Current Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can now play Game Boy Advance titles, like Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$, and, most importantly, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. More GBA games like Kirby & the Amazing Mirror and Golden Sun will be added to the service in the future.

The Minish Cap, which is available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack right now, is a solid 2D Zelda title that is, in my opinion, vastly underrated. The heroic adventure features Link shrinking to the size of an ant, navigating dungeons and puzzles in a way that incorporates all things Zelda.

A standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription costs $19.99 USD per year, but in order to play Game Boy Advance games, you’ll need the Expansion Pack, which costs $49.99 USD per year. The Expansion Pack also allows you to access a whole host of games from the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color repertoire.

Are you excited to play The Minish Cap on the Nintendo Switch? Have you played it before? Where does it rank in your personal favorite list of Zelda games? Let us know in the comments below!
