Many Zeldas in G4’s Top 100 Games

The television network G4 has put two Zelda games in the top ten of their “Top 100 Video Games of All Time” list, with even another Zelda game barely missing its shinning chance. I think it’s a great moment for Zelda: it really shows how much it shines, and kinda proves that the huge Zelda fans aren’t just crazy, the games really are that good. Their top Zelda game was A Link to the Past, which was only second on the list to the original Super Mario Bros.. I think that is an accomplishment in and of itself. A Link to the Past was an outstanding game, and if you haven’t played it, go buy it and play it right now, you won’t be sorry.
Coming up sixth on their list was the original Zelda on the NES. Now, I personally never could get into this game. It didn’t make sense to me, I did things out of order, and got lost all the time.
As an honorable mention, Ocarina of Time did happen to make their list, coming up as number eleven. I know many of us believe Ocarina of Time to be the best game, and it is ranked pretty high on my list too, so I believe this is a just place to put it. Ocarina of Time was a fantastic title and deserves its praise, even if some find it a bit overrated.
