Aside from the Link figure unlocking the new Spinner Weapon, Nintendo has released (via their official Amiibo website) full details on how Princess Zelda and other figures will function within Tecmo Koei’s Hyrule Warriors. Make the jump to check out exactly what content these figures will unlock upon their release!
Through their official Amiibo website, Nintendo has announced exactly how the figures will function within the recently released Hyrule Warriors. Here is the direct quote from their website, highlighting the content:
- Tap the Link™ Amiibo figure to receive a new weapon to use in battle: the Spinner from The Legend of Zelda™: Twilight Princess game.
- Tap the Zelda™ Amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 stars or higher.
- Tap any other Amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 starts or lower, Rupee bonus or crafting material bonus.
That’s right, scanning your Amiibo into Hyrule Warriors daily will grant you bonuses. Though Princess Zelda may not get her own unique weapon when scanned, she will get you some high level weapons. The Toon Link and Sheik Amiibos coming in February are not mentioned to have any specific features on the site, but I would assume that they will have similar content like Zelda. The Hyrule Warriors update with Amiibo support will be coming in late November.
