If by this you mean which adheres most closely to the traditional formula, I'd say it's the Downfall Timeline, followed by the Child Timeline. The definition of 'Zelda-ish' gets blurrier with each new game these days, though.

Ok, I tried to explain it, although its a bit confusing.

I guess I mean, which Zelda timeline do you think incorporates the most Zelda elements (puzzles, gameplay, etc.)

The all of them timeline. Every timeline had something Zelda-ish, so... yeah?

Sure, they all have something Zelda-ish obviously. I guess what I should have asked was which timelines do you think incorporated the best gameplay mechanics, puzzles, story, etc.

Sorry for the confusion.

Ironically, I think it's the branch of the timeline that a lot of Zelda fans disagree with, the Downfall timeline.

The Downfall timeline has the first four released Zelda games in which these Zelda staples that make a Zelda title "Zelda-ish" were first established. Everything from Link to Zelda to Ganon to Hyrule to the Master Sword to the Triforce to dungeons to fairies to bombs and bows and boomerangs- All originated in this timeline.

Not to mention, the good old Zelda formula that most of the titles follow originated here in ALttP. So to me, the Downfall timeline is the most "Zelda-ish".

Also, why is this thread in the Zelda Wii U forum...?

I wasn't paying attention and forgot I was in the Wii U section. I meant to put this in the General Zelda section. I was going to after I realized the mistake, but thought that if I posted it again in a different section people would think I was spamming.
