I thought ALttP was easier, but not by that much. It's just that the dungeons seemed to be a little easier in terms of puzzles for me.

I don't really understand why anyone would think OoT is harder. ALttP has a few puzzles that are like "WHAT??" the first time you see them, combined with way tougher combat.

I know that A Link to the Past extremely easy. But I have never played Ocarina of Time like it was meant to be played: with a real N64. I know that I'm going to end up knowing for sure in a few months(when I will have finally saved enough to buy OoT), but for those who have played them both: which is easier? I'm asking because I know someone who claims that he beat OoT in only a few days when he was 6, but I'm not sure I can trust him since he's not really a true Zelda fan who has compared them and still plays the classics.

I've played and beat all the major console Zeldas minus Wind Waker. That said, Yes A Link To The Past is waaayyy more easier than Ocarina of Time, no matter what console you play OoT on. The only difference between the different releases of OoT is the controls. The gameplay is all the same. Same side quests, same story line...everything. That said, OoT isn't as difficult is people make it out to be either. It's just longer, tedious, and A LOT more side quests than your typical Zelda game. The bosses are a little harder and the dungeons are a little more lengthy and difficult at times. But all the dungeons have a pattern to them if you pay attention to the walkthroughs. So in conclusion, yes it's harder than A.L.T.T.P. but not as hard as made out to be. Nothing like the difficulty level of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link or even Twilight Princess for Game Cube and Wii.
