What's Your Opinion on Upgrades?

I enjoyed the upgrading process from the collecting to the results, which left a satisfying feeling.

I liked being about to upgrade your shield and having to worry about its durability made the game more difficult. Being about to upgrade the weapons was really awesome too and I liked how they looked different and more awesome with each upgrade. My favorite has to be the beetle.

Love it! However it doesnt replace getting a nice amount of items

What would be perfect: nice amount of items that get reused a fair amount and upgrades (with some more challenging upgrades)
