So as we probably all have very different music tastes, I bet this'll be all over the board. xD
But what music helps you calm down when you're stressed? Or, I suppose, even if it doesn't necessarily calm you down, what do you listen to?

These are some of the songs I might listen to:

Stressed: I usually head for the Jazz section. All of it is so soothing and made to just make you wanna shake off all that comes your way.
Sometimes however, I'll listen to Everthing is Alright by Motion City Soundtrack because... Well the title kinda says why.

Hmm...that's a tough question for me. When I'm stressed, I usually find myself listening to something either really uplifting or maybe a really slow and sappy love song. Also, instrumental music eases my mind when I'm stressed out.

When I'm sad, Simon & Garfunkel.

Stressed, hm. I'm not sure. I listen to ELO a lot normally, but I gravitate towards their albums Afterglow and Out of the Blue in particular.

I listen to anything really. Just music in my ears is enough to greatly decrease my stress level.

However, I generally find high tempo, upbeat electronic music generally does the best job. I'm not too sure why, but that tends to be my preference when I'm stressed.

I listen to upbeat J-Pop songs with positive messages, particularly those from the 1990s.
