And of course, this is the LEGEND of Zelda. Legendary tales often exaggerate on details anyway.

^This.

I was going to use that as another argument but I completely forgot. Anyway, legends usually become twisted and distorted over time or difer in other regions of the world. One account of a legendary beast could be a scaly, lizardlike creature that flies with membranous wings, another account could describe it as a serpentlike creature that can fly without wings, and yet another could have it as a birdlike creature that has feathery wings. Some describe bigfoot as an apelike creature and others describe it as more akin to a bear.

Also, I interpret the different artstyles as different versions of a legend. One might want to tell a legend in a light mood like in WW, or in a darker tone like in TP. The story of Robin Hood for example is told in different ways, the lighter version for the children or something like that recent movie which is on the darker side and more aimed at adults.

But you get what I mean. Anyway, In this case, the account in TP describes it with a larger chest, extra pair of horns, and extra fingers, among other things.

Hmm...I'm surprised that nobody mentioned that TP is supposed to happen in the child timeline, while Volvagia is killed by adult Link.

Didn't I already answer this one?
For those of you who said that Stallord could be the fossil of Volvagia, I want to say you're wrong. Stallord has much less of a snake-like body. I don't believe Volvagia would even have a skeleton, really. As far as I can see the only part which could have bones is in his arms, hands, fingers, and head. More like a giant snake of fire to me. Stallord also has a ribcage, totally throwing you off of the track of Volvagia's body.

This doesn't really matter, because Volvagia would be dead on this side of the timeline anyway. He was killed by a goron warrior long ago, as it is said in OoT. He was only resurrected by Ganon on the adult timeline.

@Kybyrian:

Volvagia obviously has a skeleton, we see it after he is defeated; his body burns up revealing a long vertebra. I have a feeling you didn't read the whole thread ;).

But anyway, I'm not going to continue debating about it because I don't really think there's enough evidence either way.

Well no I didn't read the whole thread, just most of the first page. Anyway, since he does have a skeleton, I still stick with my point that it is too different from that of Stallord's. Considering Stallord has a ribcage as big as his head, and Volvagia obviously has no ribcage.
