I did vanish unexpectedly, but we're back, and I got things to share with you!

First off, school is returning, but that is not stopping us (I hope)! I am predicting the release to happen on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, also known as Veteran's Day for Americans. I really do hope I can get it done by then. We still have a lot left to film, but I think you guys will love the final product. I'm enjoying how it's turning out, personally.

Now for the new image. Today in filming, one of the actors made a rather unusual face during an outtake. We decided that it's in your best interests to see it.

I will share more soon (hopefully)! But I have a bit more to say, slightly related to that. I want to, after it's all over, get out DVDs with all the episodes and bonuses on them. Now since Zelda is copyrighted, I'm not allowed to sell them, which isn't a problem, but if demand is too crazy high, I won't be able to make enough (these things cost money).

So I was thinking of possibly holding some sort of fan-contest where you would submit fanart, fanfiction, fanvideo, etc. based on our videos. I'm not sure how well it would work out, or if I'll even be able to circulate the videos at all beyond my area, but it's an idea I want to throw out there on the table.

Let me know what you guys think, please. :)

This week's update:

I may need to delay the video's release. Not because I think we won't make the deadline, but because one man who has been overlooked in the production of this project, who lives far away from us, is possibly returning to visit us on that week. That man is the musical mastermind of our group, and deserves a lot more credit than we give him. I want to spend this week's update simply talking about him since without him, this wouldn't be possible.

His name's Kevin, here's a quick pic:

We're happy to say that we'll be offering all the remix music he made for this video for download when all is done. Literally, without him, I'd be forced to use the OST for the entire thing. To give you an idea on the songs we used made by him, here's what you will be able to download:

1. Sword Song (Piano)
2. Sword Song (Marimba)
3. Mysterious Woods
4. Mabe Village
5. Tail Cave
6. [to be heard in episode 3]
7. [to be heard in episode 3]

And that concludes this week's update. Hopefully I'll have a bit more to say next week. Adios!

This week's update:

I don't want to spoil you on this one, but I will say this. Filming is going nicely, and we're getting close to wrapping this project up and being done with it. I'm still looking for those interested in DVDs. Reply here or PM me if you hold some form of interest, that way we can decide whether or not to circulate DVDs (regardless of internet response, DVDs will be made for ourselves).

And now, for something from the filmings we had:

Sorry it's not much, but again, I don't want to spoil you. I most likely will let this thread die now since everything else to see you'll have to wait for release. However, if you have questions for the people involved, be it specific or otherwise, feel free to ask and we'll answer.

I know I'm not a moderator but you triple posted. Also the movie looks cool. Are you going to post it on youtube or something? I'd love to watch it there.

I'm looking forward to this. I remember your last LA "movie", and I really enjoyed it. It took a great game, added in some very good humor, and still had a "Zelda" feel to it.

Please, keep updating. :)

It looks like we got a new topic to post this thread in, hooray!
If you want progress on the video; we are close to done. Just got a little bit more to do!
I still want to say the release date is Veteran's Day, but a small delay did pop up.

I don't want to spoil anything; stay tuned!

Due to recent swine flu outbreak among inner members of the Wind Fish Socialist Party, we will have to delay the video. Sorry!
