Very much a dude.
Probably did not help my Father summarized me as nuisance tonight.. sure he was drunk. Alas I tend to believe unvarnished truth comes from those under the spell of Dionysus.
Ehhh.....

If it's any consolation, drunk people aren't any more honest than sober people. If someone was dishonest sober, they're dishonest drunk.

What you moreso get is that person's inhibitions are released, and that can be a good or bad thing, really depends on the person.

I personally don't like getting drunk myself, as I tend to feel awful the next day, and dealing with drunk people is like dealing with a giant, grown baby most of the time.

Unless they get.... punchy or handsy when drunk. Then it's even worse dealing with, because you'll either get pulled into a fight you never asked for (especially sucks if you hate violence like me), or you get uncomfortably groped (which has happened to me too).

I wish he was jovial and humorous drunk.. instead he airs grievances from his entire lifetime and continues to tell you every sin you did, that you even apologized for. It's exhausting and why I tend to go to sleep when he drinks his eight glasses of wine (water glasses). The man was told by doctors his drinking and smoking caused his cancer, if he quits he gets three more years of life. He has increased drinking and smoking.. Its amazing how people like him throw away time, and others who are begging as they fight cancer would love those three years.

That has to be infuriating.

I'm sorry, dude.

If I'm not mistaken with Elden Ring at least, you likely can find it cheaper by getting a used PS4 copy & then just getting the free upgrade for PS5 off the digital store once you install it. At least, that's what we all did. No reason to buy the PS5 disc as far as I'm aware, unless you just prefer physical? The only issue is that it will want to re-install the PS4 disc all the time.
I don't even have a PlayStation :crylaugh: But, yeah, psychial is the way to go imo.

The Heavier the better!
Okay, so consider this a dip into the realms of extreme metal. So lots of thrash, death, black, speed, and doom metal.

Speed Metal:

Thrash Metal:

Black Metal:

Death Metal:

Doom Metal:

Some of these bands, others might question my decisions, and whether or not they fit that genre.

First of all, genres are loosey goosey anyways, and when introducing people to the more extreme metal stuff, I'm not going to throw bands like Dark Funeral, Emperor, or Behemoth at a newbie, especially if they find blasphemy distasteful.

Plus, some extreme stuff can be hard to listen to, since a lot of the early pioneers did everything by themselves, and sometimes, that meant, though the songwriting is fantastic, the production quality suffered.

So I consider these bands and songs wonderful tip-toes. I did include some extreme stuff just to try. It's definitely not for everyone.

What is on my mind is some people will just not like your fandom, that is what you like and you gotta just be like well I am not gonna change my tastes and the stuff I enjoy in a fandom cuz of those people.
Never ever change because others don't like it. To hell with them! Why should you ever change??? You're never too old for the things you love!

Idk what I am necessarily trying to say with this, but I feel there may be something to this that you might find useful.

I've known @CynicalSquid for roughly a decade now. He can't stand pop-punk music, will straight up talk **** about it to me. Two of my favorite bands are blink-182 and Simple Plan, both are to different degrees legendary pop-punk bands. I love the genre and hold it dear to my heart. So how am I still friends with this tasteless dork? Honestly a lot of getting over my own insecurities. The things that matter to me (you) don't need to matter to anybody else. CynicalSquid may not have loved the thing I loved, but that was never a personal attack against me. My friendship with him taught me a lot about myself and what I consider important. I may not always agree with his opinion on something, but I often go to him first for an opinion, because I have learned just how much his opinions are worth (even when they are plain wrong and lacking of taste). We've both grown a lot since we first met each other, but having a healthy understanding that our opinions will differ and that we can respect that we've each come to enjoy different things for different, yet equally valid reasons, is likely a large part of why I still call him a friend today.
