I guess monarch butterflies are officially listed as endangered now
Speaking of Butterflies....I was followed by a white one a few days back. I caught myself talking to it and asked if it was coming along on my delivery round. After a while it left though. But that was some nice company 
Ordered a burger and it arrived with two bottom half buns. That must mean there's someone out there that got two top half buns. I must find them.... and fight them. For balance.

My brother tested positive for covid. I almost never see him cuz we both stay in our rooms all day and our work schedules are nearly opposite so it's very unlikely hes exposed me. I can still go to work if I have no symptoms and test negative, apparently.
Turns out I am required to quarantine for 5 days even with no symptoms and a negative test. Welp. There goes my pay for this week.

So stressed over the fate of my red violet. I think I need to make myself perform another radical procedure on it tonight. The rerooting procedure from June worked, but I don't think the roots established after I removed it from the bag and it's essentially without roots again. It's keeping me from going to my mom's cuz it's only so sick in the first place because I don't trust my dad to water my violets while I'm gone because they're so prone to rot and he's so damn stupid. Choosing between my mental health or my plants' physical health is brutal, because the latter keeps the former in check. Had this plant for 10 years, I hope I can fix this. Considering just taking it with me to my mom's because I desperately need to escape but I don't know if the sudden relocation will put more stress on it. sigh
Really need to stop unconsciously clenching my jaw. Oof ouch. Maybe I need something to chew on constantly like some sort of beast or creature.
I got my poster printed out today for the presentation I'll give next Monday. Definitely a little anxious about presenting at my first in-person scientific conference.
Finalized my registration so I'll be student teaching this year!
Also been working tons so I'm super looking forward to having a little over a week off starting next week. Got a wedding to attend, seeing some family, and spending a few days in Seattle!

I had X-rays taken and aso got an echo (of my right hip) but nothing bad came out of it. I only need some fysiotherapy and I'll be good to go and do my daily things again
