What link combat styles would u like to see in the new game? I saw a glimbs of him doing the downward strike or killer blow. I hope that one will be a finishing attack! I do like a lot of the attacks in Twilight princess. What do u guys think?

I think we'll be seeing lots of new combat styles. I mean, he'll be using more than just longswords. There's spears, clubs, and more. Maybe we'll see a few glimpses of techniques from previous games, but not a ton will be returning in this department I feel.

The hidden skills were a part of TP which I thought were great and hopes they would return. Suckward Sword unfortunately did not deliver in that regard, returning with only the final blow.

BoTW is an opportunity for the hidden skills or maybe new combat moves to appear as they learn from their mistakes with the previous 3D title.

And yes I want to see such a move. I'd like if all the TP hidden skills return

I want to see the good old fashioned hurricane spin make a return. So much fun spinning round and round and round...

With the bow he can jump and slow time to hit his target mid air. So there might be skills for other weapon types also.
I wonder if any of that slow-mo will work it's way into swordsmanship or attacks with other weapons.

I actually liked the parry ability from Wind Waker more than the hidden skills in Twilight Princess, the hidden skills tend to be more situational and something as simple as the parry move could be used in almost any situation. It seems like they're returning to this in Breath of the Wild with the flurry rush, which is pretty gosh darn cool. I also saw in a video that the shield bash to reflect projectiles is back. I'm glad to see that the simple, more universally applicable "skills" are back, plus the addition of the flurry rush which is awesome.

With the addition of a designated Jump button, many Arial strikes are possible, and it largely depends on the weapon on hand. This creates many different play styles depending on the weapons. And everything depends on momentum as well.

This allows for so much more variety in combat, and many different combinations of moves and weapons.

Hopefully a stealthy combat style
We do have that. We have a stealth meter to tell us how loud we're being (right next to the body temperature meter) and we can crouch to reduce noise so we can sneak up on wild animals and enemies. We can also do a "stealth attack" (I think that's what it's called) to quickly and silently kill enemies in their sleep in one blow at night.

Oh I meant to put good stealthy combat style. It seems ok but it might end up sucking a bit

I'd like to see less of sword exclusive skills you have to go out and learn from some old fart in a cave or a dead ancestor, and more incredibly complicated skills available to any weapon that you have to figure out by yourself through experimentation. The sword obviously has lots of potential, but so do many other weapons like the hammer and the spear.

I'd like to see disarming skills when Link is unarmed, even if I don't think we will be able to fight without a weapon in our hands.

Id like the whirlwind spin fron WW to come back. Imagine sheild surfing down a hillside and spinning like crazy.

Id also like a quick equip. Like pess down on the d-pad to do a quick weapon cycle so you can start with a sword, enter a flurry rush, change to a hammer and make the most of slow mo to deal massive damage. That'd be nice.

I've seen loads of gameplay, and the killing blow doesn't look like a lock on, it seems to be more of an area jump attack (or a Hulk smash move). My favorite move was the mortal draw, I used that thing on Gibdos (or are they Redeads?) and like everything else in TP.
