Suddenly Lost Access to My Visitor Messages

So I had been able to view the conversations started on my profile until about five minutes ago. When I had clicked "view conversation", it told me I didn't have enough privileges. I would assume that if somebody took my privileges away from me they would have notified me with a reason. Is this a glitch or has there been a mistake?

Have you tried viewing every conversation? Some members only allow VMs from friends, or they just don't allow them at all. You should be able to see most of your conversations, although, for instance, Atticus doesn't allow VMs.
