Stupid Things You Did? (in Zelda Games)

I didn't know how to make it night in Skyward Sword, I didn't realize you could sleep in beds. Then I didn't realize you could sleep in other beds than your own. I'm such an idiot.

I like pretending that awkwardness happens when Link sleeps in a different bed.

Link: *Wakes up at the Fortune Teller's* AAAH! GAK!

Sparrot: Good morning, young man.

Link: Have you been... have you been watching me? *Chokes, goes pale*

Sparrot: Well, you were in my bed...

In WW, I didn't know you could use the boat sale until after leaving dragon roost island.

I actually thought that the extremely slow cruising speed was the normal speed for moving across the ocean.

One time, I was playing WW and I got stuck next to the volcano island, the one you get the power braclets from. There's a vortex that pulls you in, and I got stuck in it.
I kept going at the slow speed trying to get away. Then my dad came in and got out the sail, and I was free! Then I was like, Why didn't I think of that?

I'm replaying the very first Zelda game and for some reason I thought that the blue candle was a "one time use only", so I never bought it or used it because I figured it was a waste to only be able to use it in one room... and I waited until I got the red candle before I started lighting up rooms in dungeons.

I then watched a video on youtube and saw them using the blue candle and was like "doh". lol

Spent half an hour looking for Makar in WW before realizing you have to do the other temple first :S

Last night, I played Spirit Tracks for five hours straight. I had to pause the game during a cut-scene and it wouldn't let me so I pressed the home button on my 3DS. When I picked up the game I accidentally tapped "Ok" instead of "Cancel" and had not saved once the entire time I played. EPIC FAIL.

I practiced for hours trying to get the "flying white horse" in Ocarina of Time. Needless to say, I failed. I was only like 11 though, so my ignorance can be forgiven.

That's the thing; there wasn't one. I had read on the internets that on the N64 cartridge one could unlock a flying white horse. I guess I was looking at the bad internets and not the good ones.

I went all over Hyrule collecting three Spiritual Stones and the Ocarina of Time to take the Triforce and save it from Ganondorf. It turns out that in doing so I unwittingly allowed him to gain entry and seize it for himself, plunging Hyrule into 7 years of despair. Not my brightest hour. That's what I get for listening to a woman.
