Remakes/remasters are typically given to separate teams. BotW2 isn’t going to suffer from a lower-effort HD port being released.
Yeah but both WWHD and TPHD were developed by the main teams at Nintendo EAD, why wouldn’t they do the same with SSHD?Remakes/remasters are typically given to separate teams. BotW2 isn’t going to suffer from a lower-effort HD port being released.
My point is that, despite effort going into the port, it won’t detract from the work going into BotW2, regardless of who is working on it. Even if it’s given to a separate team or not.Yeah but both WWHD and TPHD were developed by the main teams at Nintendo EAD, why wouldn’t they do the same with SSHD?
The changes are clearly visible even on my phone.I'm still amazed people are saying it doesn't look good/improved over the wii... are they watching the trailer on their phones or something? The difference is even more noticeable than that of twilight princess. And it was hard to tell but the textures did seem updated in some way to look cleaner than upscaled ss does on an emulator
Plus 60fps is glorious and I'm surprised nintendo really went for it, even if none of the gameplay changes (which dont get me wrong they could stand to change some things) it'll still be a decent port, just probably not on the same level as wwhd

How much did Wii games go for new? 40 bucks? 50? Seems like 10-20 bucks is a decent enough price for some qol upgrades. It looks different, but it doesn't look different enough to justify a $60 price point. This isn't a remake, just a port job. It's just upscaling the game's resolution and throwing in proper controls.

Oh, only 30 new? Yeah, 60 is kinda pushing it. It's still gonna sell like crazy.I'd agree. At most I'd say a $30 price tag would be acceptable.
