Skyward Sword BGM's

I'd like to hear mainly original tracks, but with some remixes of especially WW, as I think that music was one of the best in the series. I t was so fresh and different from the rest, and was a perfect fit for the game. I think SS is going to have a more WW-like feel than a TP-feel, so I'm expecting similair music in SS.

Most WW music, WINDMILL HUT! Zelda's Lullaby, Gerudo Desert from OoT, Main Theme, and maybe some others.

They should remake some of the old The Legend of Zelda BGM and make a new BGM just for Skyward Sword that would be great.

If they could put Dark Link as a boss, they put the Miniboss theme from OoT. It would suit the battle.

I'm probably looking forward most to the Hyrule field music. Besides that, I hope we see new tracks mainly, but with older ones in some places for some extra nostalgia.

there are lots of tunes I want to listen again

since there is a theory about the thunderbird making a comeback I want the dungeon for the thunderbird to have the temple music from aol and the battle theme for the boss fight

I also want the classic cave theme to come back

if someone want to hear to some zelda stuff, here is a good page for that:

Thanks for the link but I had that page bookmarked along time ago.

I'd also like to see the AoL Temple theme make a comeback it's 1 of my favorite LoZ BGM's

You know, I have a dream list of my favorite Zelda songs, with songs like Stone Tower Temple and Train Overworld topping the list, but I'd actually like to propose some of the songs that I think would seriously fit the themes of this game.

We know that Skyward Sword is the first game on the timeline and has SOME classic enemies, like the old land-based Octoroks. We know the Master Sword and the Royal Family have to be major component of the story. It's LIKELY that we'll see the formation of the Royal Family, and of course I have my theory about the Dark Tribe which I still support. From this I think we can glean some themes that are a must.

Title Screen - LoZ: Classic title theme, would work with the epic sky themes and beginning of the series stuff. Also works because it's the first game on the timeline.

Underworld - LoZ: Classic dungeon theme. For the same reasons as the title theme, I think it's likely to appear in at least one dungeon.

Death Mountain - LoZ: Another classic dungeon theme, that has been brilliantly remixed in Four Swords Adventures. Again, we could see it in another dungeon, possibly even the final dungeon.

Battle - AoL: Another classic theme, that would make for a brilliant miniboss theme.

Palace - AoL: Another classic dungeon theme.

Time of Falling Rain - ALttP: Now we're getting into the serious stuff. A Link to the Past was the first game to mention the Master Sword, and this is one of the more iconic songs of the game. Would work great for serious segments where something dire is happening.

Hyrule Castle - ALttP: Classic Hyrule Castle and Royal Family theme. I expect some variation of it.

Sanctuary Dungeon - ALttP: One of the best dungeon themes ever, and another classic.

Forest Theme - ALttP: The forest where the Master Sword was located, and a classic theme.

Dark Mountain Forest - ALttP: Similarly iconic song from A Link to the Past, also plays in the Dark World equivalent of the same forest.

Agahnim and Ganon's Theme - ALttP: Classic Ganon theme, and while I don't think Ganon will appear in the game, his predecessor, the leader of the Dark Tribe, most likely will, and a variation of this theme would suit him fine.

Ganon Battle - ALttP: See above.

Credits - ALttP: Classic ending theme, one of the best actually, and also relates to the ending text "The Master Sword sleeps forever" (paraphrased).

Overworld - LA: In my opinion the best version of the classic overworld song, thus I'd like to see this play on the overworld.

Zelda's Theme - OoT: Another major Royal Family song and of course is, well, Zelda's theme. This will be crucial.

Dinosaur Boss Battle - OoT: Fight song for Volvagia, whom I am sure will appear in the game, so this will likely play as well.

Goron City - OoT: If Volvagia appears, so must the Gorons and by extension, their themesong.

Temple of Time - OoT: This is the place where the Master Sword sleeps, and the Song of Time is also crucial. I'm sure this will appear.

Master Sword - OoT: Theme of pulling the Master Sword. Obvious reason is obvious.

Chamber of Sages - OoT: The creation of the Master Sword. The formation of the Royal Family and Hyrule itself. The first Zelda. There must be the start of the Sages as well. This is also the song that plays for most of the "Creation of Hyrule" stories, as well as the Lanayru dream sequence that shows the Dark Tribe.

Sun's Song - OoT: Standard day starting song, but also composed by Sharp and Flat, the composers of the Royal Family of Hyrule.

Sheik's Theme - OoT: Closest thing to a Sheikah theme, and I believe the Sheikah are the Dark Tribe and either way are crucial to the story of Hyrule. I also suspect a real character named Sheik may appear, and if so this theme is not far behind.

Song of Storms - OoT: Another song that seems to relate to the Sheikah (because it unseals the well), but also to the Royal Family of Hyrule, in a roundabout way (since Sharp and Flat composed it, except they only did so in MM which has no Hyrule).

Shadow Temple - OoT: Plays in the Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple, both crucial to the Sheikah. Text in the Shadow Temple also references "Hyrule's Bloody History", which we will likely see firsthand in Skyward Sword.

Gerudo Valley - OoT: Gerudo themesong, basically. The desert will be important in Skyward Sword as well, as the Dark Tribe hails from the desert. Gerudo may or may not appear.

Intro - TMC: Tells the story of the Hero of Men and the Picori who came from the sky. Just seems thematically related and it's a good theme either way.

Cloud Tops - TMC: Perfect for a Skyloft Theme (partially because it's a remix of the classic overworld tune), whether or not Skyloft and Cloud Tops are related.

Jabun - TWW: Remix of Lord Jabu Jabu's Belly in OoT, and the closest thing to a Jabu Jabu/Jabun themesong. Ancient deity of the Zora, and will likely appear in Skyward Sword.

Farewell Hyrule King - TWW: Melancholy version of Hyrule Castle. Will also likely play, or something like it.

Serenade of Water - TP: Technically originates from OoT, but this is the song that practically made it the Zora themesong. I think this better communicates the historical importance of the Zora than the Zora's Domain theme, so this is more likely to appear as the theme of the Zoras, IMO.

Midna's Theme - TP: Midna was a Twili, and therefore a descendant of the Dark Tribe. This is one of the closest things to a Twili themesong.

Twilight Realm - TP: See above.

Zant - TP: See above.

I also suspect a Deku Tree theme, but there's a ton of songs for him so I really have no idea which one they might pick. But I expect him for the same reasons I think we'll see Jabu Jabu/Jabun and Volvagia.

So yeah. Put too much thought into it but there you go. :P I'm sure it will have loads of original music as well, but I expect references to the series' since it is essentially the history of the series. This also took a long time to write out. :bleh:
