I would love for the sheikah to return period. People have speculation that the new guy is a sheikah, but i think its VAATI. but hey the more sheikah, the better. What do you think of having them return?

I hope the main antagonist is a completely new character with an original backstory and powers and stuff. I don't want Nintendo to repeat character like Ganon or Vaati.

On topic, there were quite a few posts about this already. But I just hope we get to fight the Sheikah, assuming they are in the game. That would make for a fun fight.

Sheikah In Skyward Sword?

As MANY of you know there is a lot of debate regarding that Shiekah will be in Skyward Sword. Personally, I think there is a lot of potential in this species in the game. As far as we know Link goes down to the 'land below' (which we know is Hyrule) to fight an 'evil' terrorizing the land. But what if the Sheikah are this evil? I believe they are the Dark Interlopers, because a professor friend of ours, Professor Shikashi, says an interesting thing in Majora's Mask. "Have you heard the legend of the "Shadow Folk"? They are the Sheikah...the shadows of the Hylians. They say they swore allegiance to the King of Hyrule and guarded the Royal Family..." That could very well be supporting evidence that they are the Dark Interlopers. Now that that's out of the way, let's move on to how they could be in SS. Skyloft could be at war with the land below, ruled by Sheikahs. Link gets sent down there to fight and eliminate this danger to the land. After they win or lose the war, the skyloftians die out and the land is later inhabited Oocca, which supports that Skyloft becomes the City In The Sky. If the Sheikah did lose the war, I believe they will learn the evil of their ways and growf fond of Hyrule and become the sheikah we know and love today.

Any thoughts? Have a different theory? Agree or Disagree? Comment below!

I don't think that means "dark interlopers." "Shadow Folk" refers to the fact that they lived in the shadows. No one really knew who they were. Besides, there's no way Nintendo had the "dark interlopers" in mind at the time. Besides, they all died (save Impa) in the war in Ocarina of Time's backstory. They were in the Kakariko Graveyard. Remember? However, I do think there's a possibility that we will see the people who *become* the Sheikah.

Great theory. my thought though, would be that the sheikah would be rivals or enemies with the dark tribe or hyrule or a new tribe or something.

first off, Skyloft can't be at war with Hyrule because they didn't know there was a land below until [insert action here]. And, Skyward Sword DOES come before Ocarina of Time...

I to believe that SS comes before Oot thats one of the reasons i want to play it so bad.

Now about the Sheikahs I would love for them to return mainly because in Oot when you meet Impa she says " Just below Death Mountain you will find my Village" So isnt Kakariko Village suppose to be full of Sheikahs anyway...I dont think the pale fellow in SS is Vaati at all to me he does not even look like Vaati at all.

I also think that in Skyward Sword the Master Sword is the Skyward Sword I have been thinking and i am starting to think, if SS came before Oot then maybe when Link Jumps from Skyloft he protecting the Sword from danger (Ganon) in Skyloft. When he lands in Hyrule the game will truly begin, At the end of SS I'm starting to think Skyloft will get destroyed and then having no choice but to leave the Master Sword (Skyward Sword) in Hyrule With the Sages and all. Which then would start the Oot.

I think the Sheikah will be in the game. It'd be interesting to see....I cant say for sure if the Shiekah were originally evil or not because I sit on the fence for this topic. Since the game will take place before Ocarina of Time it is VERY possible we will see them, but if they do not have some relation to the story I wouldnt really want Nintendo to just throw them in. The "new guy" isnt a Shiekah because he lacks the red eyes that the Sheikah so famously have....Although I do believe he MAY have something to do with the Dark Interlopers as he warps with the same style as Midna does....The Shiekah are the "shadows" of the Hylians meanwhile, the Dark Interlopers were another race altogether...So Hyrule be being invaded by the Interlopers while the Shiekah may be defending Hyrule....But it seems contradictory because in OoT, the Kingdom of Hyrule has only been around for a short while as during the "war" Link was just a baby and his mother fled to the forest....It doesnt really divulge that Hyrule wasn't already a kingdom so it all boils down to whether the games setting has a kingdom. Kingdom=Shiekah, no kingdom=no Shiekah
