So there's a new Pokemon X&Y trailer out. I'll just leave it here.

Oh, wait, there's more. As you can see in the trailer, Fennekin uses what is possibly a Fighting-type move.

...I swear to God, if Fennekin's evolutions are Fire/Fighting, I will punch Game Freak in the taint.

Hmm, maybe I was wrong about Mewtwo afterall. Seeing his new form in battle makes me thing he may not be as bad as I originally gave him credit for.

I was initially against that creepy tree Pokémon as well, but it sure does look pretty sweet seeing them in that horde battle like that!

Oh gawd I hope Fennekin doesn't gain a fighting subtype. As much as I love Blaziken, I think the whole Fire-Fighting started thing is getting old now.

All in all, a good trailer. Not much that we haven't seen before, but it's nice to get a new trailer anyway!

I wouldn't think Fennekin is a Fire/Fighting Type. There are loads of Fire Type Pokémon that can use Fighting type moves and they are not part Fighting. It's probably just one fighting type move it can learn or it might be a normal type punching attack like Mega Punch.

)If anything, Fennekin's final evolution will probably be Fire/Psychic.

Anyway, good trailer, and as suspected, Oorotto looks great. It kinda reminds me of Sudowoodo but under the influence of some sort of darkness or something. Secondary Ghost-/Dark-type evolution of Sudowoodo? I dunno...

Not a bad trailer, the only thing that was really noticeable was the reveal of Oorotto. I really don't care for Fennekin whatsoever, seeing as how it's the worst starter thus far (imo).

It's still a red flag. They've done it three times in a row. What would stop them from four?

Oh my goodness this is so awesome! I cannot believe they went through these lengths to deliver a BRAND NEW TRAILER to us lowly fanboys and fangirls. I'm so glad to see that Fennekin can use fighting type moves! I am not at all worried about it being fire/fighting, in fact it'd be awesome to see such a combination once more. I mean can you think of it? A starter that starts out awesome (traditionally, fire starters have had the easiest times at least from what I remember), and gradually becomes awesomer!

According to Serebii the move that Fennekin used was a new move called Glow Punch. This doesn't sound like a Fighting type move, I'd imagine it's either a Fairy or Psychic type move.

Fire-type Pokémon suck in general, save for a few exceptions. :right: But I have a feeling that we're in for a surprise come Fennekin's final evolution; just you wait...

I think they showed a apparent fighting-type move just to mess with the fanbase and throw us off the scent.

It's classic misdirection, such as the techniques used on "Doctor Who" by Steven Moffat.

I know, right? We probably are in for a surprise. I honestly doubt that Fennekin would be a dual Fire/Fighting type, but a Fire/Psychic or Fire/Fairy type might be a possibility.

It is called glow punch so my guess is a fairy type punch move. so maybe fennekin is gonna be a fairy/fire

I highly doubt that to be honest. It's more likely Fennekin's evolutions will be Fire/Psychic because it has been seen using more than 1 psychic move. Glow Punch may be Fairy or it could be Psychic, we just don't know much about the move at the moment.
