Sorry, Im pretty sure there's a Zelda theory section, but I couldn't find it. This discussion is very popular. You know the moon child who wears majoras mask? What or who is he? Is he majora incarnate, or something else?

My opinion: I think mask salesmen are born on the moon and somehow get to Hyrule with their collection of masks. I think majora also rules them, so when he possessed one to communicate with link, and gave him the mask to make their battle fun. What do you think?

I'd say he's Majora's incarnate. Why else would he take you to fight Majora when you talk to him?

I really think that the Children represent the lost tribe who, according to the game's BS crafted the Majora's Mask.
